Anamon’s Foundation Mental health promotion attempts to encourage healthy behaviors that can help prevent the development of a mental disorder. It also involves creating environments that support people living with diagnosed mental health disorders and their families.

Community Events

Our community events provide a judgement-free environmental for people to sit around tables to talk about their personal mental health journeys, share experiences that others can learn from, and provide tips on some tools and resources that has been helpful to them on the journey.

Our community events also provide expert advice from mental health professionals to help participants develop healthy mental health behaviors, point them to mental health resources, and equip them with knowledge, skills and confidence needed to respond appropriately and safely to persons living with mental health disorders.

Webinars

Anamon Foundation webinars provides free mental health awareness training to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to respond appropriately and safely to persons with mental health challenges.

Our trainings are not only beneficial to the individual trainees/participants but also to their families, friends, communities, work colleagues, school mates, and others.

Our webinars provide relevant information, helpful tools, and access to mental health resources. Our webinars are open to everyone especially people who are battling mental health challenges and their families.

Retreats

Anamon’s Foundation mental health retreats provide an opportunity for people to get away from their regular daily stressors and engage activities for relaxation and recreation. Our retreats offer an avenue for mental purgation, providing a place for mental decompression.

Our recreational retreats include keynote speakers and workshops, recreational activities like hiking, biking, soccer, drum circles, dancing, concerts, and therapeutic elements like meditation and yoga.

Consider the following benefits:

  • A place to get away from everyday stressors
  • A safe space to address the issues you’re experiencing
  • Therapeutic and holistic activities to support your total well-being
  • Treatment for mental health issues you may or may not be aware of
  • A plan to support your long-term care

Our webinars are free, and open to everyone
