Anamon — a word from the Twi language of the Akan people of Ghana meaning “footprint”—beautifully reflects the lasting impact we strive to make in the world. It represents legacy, presence, and meaningful change. There could be no more fitting name than Anamon Foundation, an organization committed to leaving positive, enduring footprints in communities across Ghana and beyond.
Anamon Foundation is a purpose-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to social impact, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment. We exist to create lasting change by addressing critical social needs, supporting vulnerable populations, and promoting innovative solutions that improve livelihoods while protecting our environment.
Anamon Foundation operates under Clothe The Naked (CTN)—a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States (EIN: 47-4328922), which is also registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ghana, West Africa. This dual presence enables us to mobilize resources globally while delivering impactful, community-based programs locally.
In Ghana, Anamon Foundation provides vital support to vulnerable populations, including children in orphanages, individuals in psychiatric hospitals, inmates in prisons, and families in deprived rural communities. Through transformative initiatives such as the Godfather Project, we step in where support systems are absent—ensuring children of single mothers receive the care, protection, and opportunities they deserve. Our Scholarship Aid, Youth Mentorship, Clothing Outreach, and Volunteer Placement programs further address education, personal development, and essential human needs through a sustainable, long-term approach.
In the United States, Anamon Foundation focuses on improving the well-being of youth in underserved communities across the Pacific Northwest. Through mentorship, educational support, and mental health initiatives, we provide safe spaces, practical resources, and personalized guidance that empower young people to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Our work primarily serves underserved and underrepresented populations, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), minority groups, immigrants, and refugee communities across Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties.
At Anamon Foundation, we believe that small, intentional actions can leave powerful footprints. Through our programs and partnerships, we uplift underserved communities, promote responsible and sustainable living, and work toward a future where opportunities and resources are shared equitably.
We believe that when individuals are supported with care, accountability, and opportunity, entire communities are transformed. Together with our partners, donors, and volunteers, we are building a future where no child, youth, or marginalized individual is left behind.
Our work is rooted in community development, environmental stewardship, and social support systems that empower individuals and transform lives. By combining compassion with action, we strive to create measurable, lasting impact—one footprint at a time.
